Exploring Aboriginal ways of knowing, doing, being and healing
This is a face to face culturally immersive course designed by Aboriginal academics and educators.
It’s tailored for Aboriginal people who want to develop knowledge and skills related to Aboriginal healing frameworks, effects of ongoing colonisation, racism and intergenerational trauma.
It promotes effective responses to adult and child sexual assault, family violence, child abuse and neglect.
The course explores Aboriginal lived experiences, Aboriginal worldviews and best practice in responding to trauma. It encapsulates learnings from two nationally accredited courses offered within the ECAV Aboriginal Qualification Pathway:
