Belinda Green

Senior Statewide Educator Disability & SV

Belinda joined the Disability and Sexual Violence portfolio at ECAV in April, 2020. She is a qualified social worker and anthropologist.

Belinda has experience in adult education, workplace training, interdisciplinary research and professional counselling. She has worked for a number of statewide health services and for leading universities in Australia and in Ethiopia.

Belinda is committed to furthering an intersectional feminist understanding of structural and interpersonal forms of violence and inequalities while trying to cultivate reflective, trauma informed and socially just responses in her direct practice and advocacy. She strongly supports the need for greater credence given to lived experience and co-design processes in planning and service delivery for priority populations including people with disability.

Belinda has published a variety of articles, book chapters and training materials on the former issues. She has a PhD in Anthropology, a Master of Social Work (Qual), a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Bachelor of Media and Communication.


Robina Jones

Senior Statewide Educator Disability & SV

Robina joined ECAV in 2020 after working as a Social Worker for 20 years across various health settings and with a range of diverse client populations.

Prior to starting at ECAV she worked for 8 years as a Social Worker in the community team at the Liverpool Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit. Robina had a particular interest in the brain injury sector’s responses to women and children who had acquired a brain injury as a result of domestic and family violence, as well as how the two sectors could better work together.

Robina is passionate about using her clinical experience to work collaboratively with people with disabilities, as well as the disability and violence and neglect sectors, to improve the access and responses for people with disabilities affected by violence and abuse.
